Welcome Libby Self!

Help us welcome Libby Self to our district!
Libby grew up in the area, attending Greeley Grade School and graduating from ACHS in 1998. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emporia State in 2001, later completing master’s degrees in special education and building administration, along with a district-level certificate.
She joins us as a Special Education Instructional Coach, bringing 18.5 years of experience as a special education teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Libby and her husband Brant live on a farm east of Garnett with their daughters, Harley and Bryar. Their family raises cattle and chickens, shows llamas at the Kansas State Fair, and shares their home with many beloved cats and dogs.
Libby is excited to return to her home district and continue her passion for supporting students, teachers, and inclusive education.
